The Waconia Wildcats ended the Coyotes team season when they defeated them Thursday evening at the Section 2AA team tournament in New Prague 42-36.

Clipper girls to play Lyle in playoffs

The Cleveland girls basketball team is seeded No. 5 out of nine teams in the Section 1A West Tournament.

The Clippers (9-11) open at No. 4 Lyle-Pacelli (15-7) at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at Lyle.

Sabers dominate Coyotes
